Responsibilities
- Design developer-friendly application security tools, libraries, and automated workflows.
- Translate security concepts into practical solutions that align with software engineers’ daily workflows.
- Share software engineering expertise with the Application Security team to improve security processes.
- Co-create AI skills and agentic solutions that identify and remediate code vulnerabilities.
- Gather and analyze security metrics, produce actionable reports, and architect solutions that strengthen security posture.
Requirements
- Proven software development experience, ideally in a Java/JVM environment and at a Senior, Tech Lead, or aspiring Principal level.
- Hands-on understanding of software delivery practices including automated testing, deployments, and release management.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Strong interest in application security; cybersecurity certifications and ethical-hacking experience are not required.
- Strong interest in using AI tools and preferably in developing AI harnesses.
- Prior cybersecurity domain expertise is not required and can be learned on the job.
