Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data and AI platform services supporting TeamViewer’s AI-powered products.
- Develop data pipelines, retrieval systems, indexing, and infrastructure for AI workloads.
- Operate production model infrastructure, including deployment, versioning, routing, caching, and cost controls.
- Build monitoring and observability for AI-system performance, quality, latency, and cost.
- Support CI/CD practices, testing, deployment, monitoring, and safe rollback for AI systems.
- Maintain evaluation infrastructure to measure quality, identify regressions, and support release decisions.
- Ensure data quality, security, privacy, governance, and access controls across structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with AI, software, product, security, and platform teams to deliver reliable production systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering or data platform experience.
- Strong Python skills and solid SQL knowledge.
- Experience building production-grade data pipelines, platform services, or AI infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with production AI or ML systems, including retrieval pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, or model deployment.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience optimizing systems for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms; Azure or GCP experience is preferred.
- Understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
