Base Salary
$86k - $129k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, and Flask.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and data services across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Write clean, well-tested code in Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and support CI/CD workflows on AWS.
- Design and work with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL and MongoDB.
- Apply AI/ML tools, large language models, and AI-assisted coding workflows to improve development and software quality.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver sponsor-focused solutions.
- Potentially build data pipelines, data-processing workflows, analytics applications, and scalable distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant hands-on software development experience, including internships, co-ops, or full-time roles.
- Practical understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience developing full-stack or web applications with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, or Flask.
- Foundational understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and familiarity with Docker.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Git.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and learning skills.
- Preferred experience with data pipelines, NLP, geospatial or large-scale datasets, large language models, AI-assisted development tools, automated test suites, model-output evaluation, Neo4j, cloud-native development, scalable distributed systems, and federal or research environments.
- Preferred familiarity with Agile or Scrum and an active or current DoD or federal government security clearance.
- No security clearance is required for the position or expected within one year of hire.
