Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, well-tested code that ships to production and impacts Coinbase customers.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver product and technical features.
- Participate in code reviews and exchange feedback to improve team quality.
- Own a defined project end-to-end from scoping through implementation and launch during the internship.
- Learn and apply cryptocurrency and blockchain concepts to production engineering problems.
- Use generative AI tools responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Requirements
- Programming experience in any language through academic work, personal projects, or professional experience.
- Familiarity with at least one of web development, mobile development, backend systems, or infrastructure.
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete implementation steps.
- Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots, including LibreChat, Gemini, or Glean, while applying human-in-the-loop practices.
