Base Salary
$196k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and front-end architecture for complex internal tools.
- Develop and strategize the Waymo Autonomous Tools component library and design system.
- Act as a technical bridge between UX Design, Product Management, and Software Engineering.
- Define and promote front-end best practices, including accessibility and localization.
- Mentor engineers and designers, creating reusable solutions and documentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional front-end or UI engineering experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of TypeScript, Angular (or similar frameworks), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proven track record of architecting large-scale, production-quality front-end applications.
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks and a commitment to code quality.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and ability to translate designs into code.
- Experience with complex data integration from backend services.
