Responsibilities
- Design, build, and continuously improve high-quality Android applications with cross-functional teams.
- Design scalable and maintainable architectures and make key technical decisions for core application features.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and improve engineering standards.
- Optimize video streaming, real-time communication, BLE integration, application performance, and reliability.
- Improve application stability, memory usage, performance, and compatibility across Android devices.
- Refine CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and DevOps workflows.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver user-focused features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin and experience shipping production applications.
- Hands-on experience with IoT integration, video streaming, real-time systems, or similarly complex domains.
- Proficiency with asynchronous programming using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
- Experience with modularized codebases, multi-module architecture, and scalable project structures.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, performance, memory, and edge-case analysis skills.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Agile development, and automated testing.
- Bonus: experience with BLE, IoT devices, hardware-integrated mobile applications, WebRTC, HLS, Android performance optimization, or AI/LLM tools for development workflows.
- Strong communication, collaboration, self-management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
