Responsibilities
- Build strong customer relationships and advocate for their needs.
- Pivot between delivery and strategic engagements with clients.
- Support customers' strategic requirements and journey with Elastic.
- Own the strategic roadmap and conduct quarterly sessions with stakeholders.
- Design and integrate Elastic products and APIs in critical environments.
- Develop demos and proof-of-concepts to showcase Elastic's value.
- Optimize data modeling, query development, and cluster tuning.
- Collaborate with engineering and product management for feature enhancements.
- Engage with the sales team to scope opportunities and assess risks.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a consulting role delivering professional services.
- Current UK security clearance or willingness to undergo clearance.
- Experience as a technical instructor or public speaker on enterprise software.
- Ability to gather and execute solutions to customer business requirements.
- Passion for open-source technology and proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with large distributed systems from an architecture perspective.
- Knowledge of information retrieval and analytics domains.
- Understanding of Linux, Java, and databases.
