Responsibilities
- Perform product cybersecurity functions including risk analyses, requirements reviews, and incident response management.
- Work with development teams to implement security controls aligned with identified risks and applicable standards.
- Identify cybersecurity risks requiring escalation through the governance framework.
- Coordinate with engineering groups and customer projects across multiple technical competencies.
- Collaborate with agile teams deploying new services to customers.
- Contribute to the wider vehicle cybersecurity group by supporting product resilience and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in product cybersecurity practices.
- At least 2 years of experience in safety or security management and processes.
- At least 2 years of experience with the automotive product development lifecycle, including V-model and ASPICE.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory compliance development, and stakeholder-requirement integration.
- Experience with hardware security, software security, HSM, SHE, secure boot, and secure software updates.
- Experience with cybersecurity processes and implementation of ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156.
- Experience with cryptographic algorithms such as RSA, AES, SHA, and CMAC.
- Penetration-test development experience, strong security risk and compliance experience, and cybersecurity certifications such as ISO 21434 or CISSP are preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and facilitate product cybersecurity deployment in an automotive environment.
