Responsibilities
- Design and build reusable Terraform modules for Azure resources according to agreed standards and best practices.
- Combine individual modules into composable Azure solutions such as virtual networks and related networking resources.
- Create reusable GitHub Actions workflows for validating, testing, and deploying Terraform configurations.
- Organize and maintain GitHub repositories, including structure, branching, documentation, and contribution guidelines.
- Develop and refine GitHub Copilot instructions for consistent infrastructure code generation.
- Work in Azure DevOps sprints, take ownership of assigned tasks, and use reviews and feedback to demonstrate progress.
- Test modules and workflows, provide demos, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and improve quality and usability.
- Document and demonstrate deliverables for future Azure deployments.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a computer science or related college or university program, with a minimum bachelor's degree requirement.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and core cloud infrastructure concepts, including networking and compute.
- Familiarity with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code technology.
- Familiarity with Git, including repositories, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and interest in creating reusable GitHub Actions workflows.
- Interest in GitHub Copilot, technical documentation, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Proficient English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international environment; Dutch proficiency is expected and French is a plus.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, strong communication, and interest in cloud infrastructure and automation.
