Base Salary
$275k - $315k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own scientific enablement strategy, materials, delivery, and measurement for research teams adopting Claude.
- Lead scientist activation programs such as LSVP and Claude for Researchers.
- Build demos, notebooks, tutorials, workshops, and hackathons showing how frontier models can support scientific work.
- Train Applied AI and Customer Success teams and create reusable scientific enablement playbooks.
- Build and lead a scientist community through meetups, conferences, ambassador programs, and online engagement.
- Represent scientists inside Anthropic by translating their needs into product asks and launch initiatives.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to reach the scientific community with campaigns and content.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on expertise with AI tools for science, including Claude Science.
- Scientific credibility through hands-on experience in academic labs, biotechs, pharmaceutical companies, or research institutes.
- Experience helping multiple scientific teams adopt tools through demos, trainings, workshops, or hackathons.
- Current knowledge of AI for science, including agentic analysis and AI co-scientists.
- Hands-on experience building working prototypes with LLM APIs; production coding experience is not required.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills demonstrated through talks, tutorials, or documentation.
- Experience taking programs or products from idea to measurable results with accountability for outcomes.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity, clarify unclear problems, and work across multiple responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field, or equivalent demonstrated preparation.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of $275,000–$315,000 USD.
- Hybrid policy requiring staff to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
- Visa sponsorship is offered with reasonable efforts made after an offer, although sponsorship cannot be successfully provided for every role or candidate.
