Responsibilities
- Develop, train, validate, deploy, and monitor machine learning models for manufacturing applications.
- Build predictive analytics, anomaly detection, defect classification, root-cause analysis, and predictive maintenance solutions.
- Develop computer vision and automated inspection systems for quality assurance and process verification.
- Integrate AI applications with MES, ERP, PLM, manufacturing databases, test systems, and production equipment.
- Create scalable data pipelines, dashboards, monitoring tools, and decision-support systems for manufacturing data.
- Implement digital twins and process simulation capabilities to improve manufacturing efficiency and decision-making.
- Support Industry 4.0, smart factory, New Product Introduction, continuous improvement, and AI governance initiatives.
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, test engineering, operations, product development, supply chain, and IT teams to deliver measurable operational improvements.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences and provide guidance on AI and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience developing solutions with Python or similar programming languages.
- Experience with MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with data analysis, statistics, predictive modeling, advanced analytics, SQL databases, data processing tools, and large-scale datasets.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial automation, quality systems, operational environments, or related production systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, test, quality, or operations engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience implementing AI agents and intelligent automation solutions for manufacturing and quality improvements.
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, project execution, and organizational skills.
- Preferred experience includes computer vision, industrial image processing, automated inspection, Microsoft Azure, cloud-based AI services, IIoT, MES, SCADA, PLCs, digital twins, simulation, Industry 4.0, smart factories, data governance, responsible AI, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- An advanced degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or analytics is preferred.
