Base Salary
$173k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve infrastructure problems with code and build compute capacity.
- Create practical guardrails that provide service owners with self-service feedback on service efficacy and security.
- Automate manual governance processes.
- Advance CI/CD pipeline governance while maintaining service-owner feature velocity, patching, and maintenance.
- Partner with infrastructure teams across Salesforce and evaluate new technologies.
- Design test and deployment services.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph.
- 4+ years of Linux engineering experience.
- 3+ years maintaining, building, or patching highly sensitive customer data and environments.
- 3+ years deploying with a CI orchestration service such as Jenkins or Spinnaker.
- 3+ years working within and building on AWS.
- 2+ years of experience with a scripting or programming language such as Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or Go.
- 2+ years deploying distributed applications with Docker and orchestration such as Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or similar.
- U.S. citizenship, no dual citizenship, and agreement to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation for a Moderate Public Trust position.
- Experience developing security and compliance into pipelines is preferred.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Graphite, Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Zabbix is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is preferred.
