Base Salary
$150k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement an enterprise software platform integrating business processes from sales through manufacturing.
- Develop applications tracking the end-to-end lifecycle of millions of parts across thousands of customers.
- Design and build scalable, resilient systems for factory workflows, production and machine data, traceability, quality, reliability, and security.
- Act as an engineer, product owner, and team lead by scoping features, driving schedules, assigning tasks, and delivering results.
- Collaborate with product management and software, manufacturing, automation, quality, and operations teams to gather requirements and solve problems.
- Maintain an accessible and reliable backend data model for business intelligence users.
- Design and develop functional, intuitive user interfaces that improve system usability.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar is required.
- Experience with backend web frameworks such as Flask or Django is required.
- Experience with frontend web frameworks such as React or Next.js is required.
- Experience building applications that interact with SQL and non-relational databases is required.
- 10+ years of software development experience is preferred.
- Experience as a team lead, architect, product owner, or in a similar technical leadership role is preferred.
- Experience architecting and implementing complex systems such as ERP, MRP, MES, CRM, e-commerce, logistics, warehouse management, or fleet management systems is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication and requirements-gathering skills are preferred.
