Responsibilities
- Define and drive quality strategy and standards for order management and omnichannel fulfillment capabilities.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs, integrations, contract testing, event-driven workflows, and end-to-end commerce scenarios.
- Validate inventory accuracy, order orchestration, fulfillment execution, returns, and SLA adherence through automated and exploratory testing.
- Develop and maintain test-data management capabilities for complex commerce scenarios.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, release validation, regression testing, and deployment verification.
- Define quality metrics and test coverage goals while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach engineers on test automation, quality practices, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of quality engineering, software testing, and test automation experience.
- Strong experience delivering quality for order management, inventory, fulfillment, and omnichannel commerce platforms.
- Proficiency with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, or equivalent testing frameworks.
- Expertise in order lifecycle validation, including order capture, sourcing, fulfillment, shipment, returns, exchanges, and post-purchase experiences.
- Strong expertise in API testing, contract testing, and integration testing across distributed architectures.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and implementing quality gates, release validation, and deployment verification.
- Understanding of shift-left testing, continuous testing, quality engineering metrics, and release readiness assessment.
- Experience with test-data management and AI-assisted test generation, intelligent test maintenance, intelligent regression testing, and LLM-assisted quality engineering practices.
- Cross-browser testing experience with BrowserStack or an equivalent tool is advantageous.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with product owners, architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Experience mentoring quality engineers, driving automation adoption, and establishing engineering excellence practices across teams.
