Responsibilities
- Define and drive quality strategy and standards for order management and omnichannel fulfillment capabilities.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs, integrations, contract testing, event-driven workflows, and end-to-end commerce scenarios.
- Validate inventory accuracy, order orchestration, fulfillment execution, returns, and SLA adherence through automated and exploratory testing.
- Develop and maintain test-data management capabilities for complex order, inventory, sourcing, fulfillment, and returns scenarios.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, regression testing, release validation, and deployment verification.
- Define quality metrics and test coverage goals while leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and mentor engineers on test automation and quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of Quality Engineering, Software Testing, and Test Automation experience, preferably with order management, inventory, fulfillment, and omnichannel commerce platforms.
- Strong proficiency with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, or equivalent testing frameworks.
- Expertise in order lifecycle validation, API testing, contract testing, and integration testing across distributed microservices.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and implementing quality gates, release validation, and deployment verification.
- Understanding of shift-left testing, continuous testing, quality metrics, and release-readiness assessment.
- Experience with cross-browser testing, BrowserStack or equivalent tooling, and test-data management is advantageous.
- Experience using AI-assisted test generation, intelligent test maintenance, intelligent regression testing, and LLM-assisted quality engineering practices.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, mentoring, automation adoption, and engineering excellence experience.
