Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end solution architectures for hybrid compute, storage, and edge computing.
- Align architectures with ECPOST product family objectives and enterprise technology standards.
- Design structured data storage solutions using databases, SAN/NAS systems, and RAID configurations.
- Incorporate AI/ML workloads, containerization, and edge computing into compute and storage strategies.
- Architect unstructured data solutions using object storage such as S3 and Glacier and hybrid models for edge sites.
- Define architectures for physical and virtual servers, HPC clusters, and cloud compute instances.
- Create unified provisioning strategies for GPU-intensive workloads, virtualization challenges, and fragmented hosting environments.
- Ensure solutions provide scalability, high availability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Support application stack modernization and migrations.
- Manage communication and alignment with enterprise stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of IT experience and 3–5 years of system architecture design experience.
- Expertise in KVM, AHV, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Linux, SQL, Oracle, SAN/NAS systems, and RAID configurations.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud-native design.
- Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and automation technologies.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, authentication, and authorization schemes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience designing compute and storage solutions for large-scale environments.
- Preferred technical certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, NetApp, Dell EMC, Nutanix, ITIL, or TOGAF.
