Responsibilities
- Review High-Level Software Requirements against system-level user requirements.
- Review model-based software simulations and associated test cases against software requirements.
- Assess software design artefacts developed using Model Based Software Design methodologies.
- Support software verification and validation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify and document design issues, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with systems, software, and verification engineers and contribute to technical reviews.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 to 9 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience in aerospace, defence, or another highly regulated engineering environment.
- Strong experience with Model Based Software Design and reviewing software requirements, architectures, and design artefacts.
- Strong understanding of software verification and validation processes.
- Excellent knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience conducting technical reviews and providing independent engineering assessments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, or relevant military background with equivalent hands-on experience.
- Desirable qualifications include control-system development, safety-critical model-based development, requirements-based engineering, and multidisciplinary engineering experience.
- Must be willing and eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.
