Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure software solutions.
- Build Java and Spring-based backend systems, RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations for high-volume transactional environments.
- Develop frontend capabilities using ReactJS and TypeScript and integrate them with backend services through asynchronous communication patterns.
- Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases while maintaining data integrity and performance.
- Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, secure deployments, and enterprise development workflows.
- Apply OAuth2, JWT, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks, strengthen controls, and contribute to technology communities and policy or procedure development.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java JDK 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and highly scalable secure backend systems.
- Strong expertise in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and service-to-service integration in high-volume transactional environments.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, and end-to-end full-stack development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, with a focus on data integrity and performance.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding guidelines.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Maven, Gradle, and Git.
- Experience leading technical design discussions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers in large delivery teams.
- Background in banking, financial services, or regulated environments is highly valued.
- Ability to work with risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills.
