Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
- Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers on electronic data processing systems and product or commercial software.
- Determine user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve programming and output requirements.
- Prepare operating instructions and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Ensure software standards are met.
Requirements
- Level 1 requires a STEM bachelor's degree and 0 years of related professional or military software engineering experience, or a master's degree and 0 years of experience.
- Level 2 requires a STEM bachelor's degree and 2 years of related professional or military software engineering experience, or a master's degree and 0 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance and Special Access Program access within a reasonable time.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret clearance, strong communication and technical writing skills, and the ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.
