Base Salary

$224k - $300k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build software that turns bills of materials into order books, purchase orders, pricing, and lead-time records.
  • Develop procurement tracking and document-extraction systems that identify late items, critical-path risks, and vendor recovery actions.
  • Connect receiving, warehouse serialization, cycle counts, purchase orders, and finance reconciliation into a shared record.
  • Build manufacturing software covering bills of materials, engineering change notices, drawing trees, inspection plans, first-article procedures, and nonconformance workflows.
  • Embed with sourcing, quality, factory, and warehouse teams to turn operational judgment into software for scheduling, cash demand, and payment planning.
  • Ship production features and independently identify, design, and deliver solutions.

Requirements

  • Production software experience in Go, Python, or TypeScript, with the ability to learn additional languages as needed.
  • Experience building real features with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, open-weight models, MCP servers, agentic frameworks, and production document extraction.
  • Daily experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
  • Ability to work autonomously, move quickly under deadlines, and build data models and foundations that other engineers can extend.
  • Experience earning credibility with operators in factories, warehouses, or procurement and driving adoption within operational deadlines.
  • Strong product judgment for building intuitive interfaces and workflows aligned with real-world operations.
  • Bonus experience with MES, ERP, WMS, or TMS systems; BOM lineage; engineering change control; serialized component traceability; supplier quality including NCRs, CAPA, and FAI; three-way match and receiving reconciliation; LLM extraction over vendor documents; or high-volume hardware supply chains.
