Base Salary

$102k - $219k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain product features, enhancements, bug fixes, and automated tests for Azure Data products.
  • Design solutions, contribute to architecture and design documents, and ensure performance, scalability, resiliency, security, privacy, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Build deployment and production automation, support safe releases and rollbacks, and operate Azure services in air-gapped environments.
  • Implement security controls, threat modeling, monitoring, telemetry, security testing, and compliance processes.
  • Perform on-call live-site operations, investigate incidents, improve reliability and support documentation, and act as a designated responsible individual.
  • Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to understand customer requirements, manage dependencies, conduct experiments, and deliver product improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience coding in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access based on an SSBI with polygraph.
  • Must meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
  • U.S. citizenship verification is required due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
