Base Salary

$125k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant data ingestion pipelines for high-volume, real-time Starlink telemetry.
  • Develop frontend visualizations, interactive dashboards, and UI components for real-time monitoring.
  • Drive automation to reduce manual monitoring effort and improve anomaly-detection accuracy.
  • Generate alerting, performance, and reliability metrics for customer quality of service, constellation health, and engineering insights.
  • Maintain high software standards and engineering best practices across the full stack.
  • Investigate business problems and apply efficient, first-principles solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 1 year of industry and/or internship experience, or at least 3 years of professional software development experience in lieu of a STEM degree.
  • Strong backend experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
  • Frontend experience with React, Angular, or a comparable JavaScript framework.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or CockroachDB and/or distributed data systems.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience building or operating large-scale observability, telemetry, or real-time analytics systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with streaming data platforms or high-volume data pipelines is preferred.
  • Ability to own projects end-to-end and deliver reliable, high-quality software.
  • Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines.
  • Ability to participate in a weeklong rotational on-call schedule.
  • Must meet applicable ITAR citizenship, residency, refugee, asylee, or authorization requirements.
