Responsibilities
- Design desktop applications for customers, manufacturers, and the Embedded group.
- Design microprocessor software for customers and manufacturers.
- Debug application issues with application engineers and customers.
- Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, application, quality, supplier, and manufacturing teams to optimize products and support production.
- Design verification and agency tools to improve productivity.
- Create and support project documentation, including test procedures, manuals, and drawings.
- Support technical questions from the application group and assist with customer support.
- Contribute to product, process, cost-reduction, and design improvements.
- Travel domestically and globally to support manufacturing locations when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in desktop or library development or embedded systems development.
- Experience with C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, SQL, and Java.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio and other IDEs for code development.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and embedded systems programming.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment for hardware testing and validation.
- Effective interpersonal, presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
