Base Salary
$78k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, script, automate, execute, review, and report on test cases for server, web, cloud, and mobile informatics products.
- Design and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, scripts, and regression test strategies.
- Perform manual and informal testing, including functional, performance, integration, boundary, coverage, and regression analysis.
- Lead testing efforts and provide automation leadership, peer reviews, testing criteria, result analysis, and stakeholder reporting.
- Assess architecture, hosting infrastructure, dependencies, and feature workflows to identify integration risks.
- Support QA activities and release documentation in accordance with regulatory, security, privacy, software quality, and compliance requirements.
- Provide testing guidance to developers and mentor junior test engineers.
- Estimate work, establish commitments, and deliver software builds according to quality plans and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- At least 2 years of software quality assurance experience in a regulated industry.
- Moderate knowledge of Agile and test-driven methodologies.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency, creativity, independent thought, analytical ability, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Preferred experience includes at least 5 years in related work, JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL, Postgres or another relational database technology, BrowserStack, test automation tools, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Preferred experience includes JAMA, JIRA, the Atlassian toolset, Scrum ceremonies, and diagnostic medical device or informatics software design.
