Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports for multiple software projects.
- Translate product requirements into test cases and assist with testing complex B2B software projects.
- Document defects and communicate quantitative and qualitative test findings to development teams.
- Track quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts, and monitor issue resolution.
- Validate that product releases satisfy defined requirements and meet end-user expectations.
- Help improve quality-control, product-release-management, and bug-fix processes.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, UX/UI designers, support analysts, and technical writers.
- Stay current with testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related science or technology discipline is highly preferred.
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience in manual and automated software testing.
- Experience with Jira and TestRail applications.
- Proficiency in creating test plans and defect-tracking processes.
- Proficiency in black-box and white-box testing.
- Experience with regression, ticket, and performance testing is preferred.
- Experience testing payment or accounting systems, including ERP systems, is preferred.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage, coordinate, prioritize, and follow through.
