Base Salary

$180k - $235k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the iOS product lifecycle from conceptualization and architectural design through development and App Store launch.
  • Develop and maintain high coding standards through guidelines, code reviews, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Champion application security, performance, and stability through testing, monitoring, and release processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and deliver cohesive experiences across product boundaries.
  • Build privacy-focused features that protect personal information, account data, voice traffic, and SMS traffic.

Requirements

  • Require 4+ years of iOS software development experience.
  • Require an engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a similar field.
  • Require proficiency in Swift and a strong foundational understanding of iOS architecture and the application lifecycle.
  • Require experience with Swift Concurrency and async/await for responsive, performant applications.
  • Prefer professional experience with SwiftUI and a strong interest in building modern user interfaces.
  • Value understanding of cryptographic systems and privacy-conscious solution design.
  • Value the ability to work independently, learn continuously, make practical tradeoffs, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teammates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to iterate quickly while incorporating feedback are required.
  • Bonus qualifications include familiarity with Combine or Core Data, hands-on App Store release experience, and knowledge of cryptography, Secure Enclave, eSIM, 4G, or 5G.
