Responsibilities
- Build polished, production-ready Demandbase AI experiences from concept through launch.
- Translate customer needs and design intent into thoughtful, high-quality working experiences.
- Partner with Design, Product, AI, and Engineering teams on new agentic interaction patterns.
- Create workflows that help designers move prototypes and ideas into production more effectively.
- Use hands-on development and pre- and post-launch reviews to close gaps between design intent and implementation.
- Identify experience-quality issues earlier and help teams prioritize improvements.
- Use AI-assisted development to accelerate exploration, implementation, testing, and iteration.
- Create reusable components, patterns, tools, and guardrails that improve quality across teams.
- Bring UX craft and the voice of the customer into the India Product and Engineering organization.
- Teach and mentor designers and engineers and help establish AI-enabled ways of working.
- Help define the UX Engineering function and standards at Demandbase.
Requirements
- 8+ years of exceptional UX and product judgment, including a strong understanding of customer workflows and needs.
- Strong frontend engineering skills and experience shipping complex web applications to production.
- Ability to work across design thinking, interaction design, prototyping, and production code.
- Deep experience with modern frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and use of AI throughout the development lifecycle.
- Experience creating reusable systems and patterns rather than only one-off implementations.
- Strong attention to usability, accessibility, performance, interaction details, and product quality.
- Strong communication and influence across Design, Product, and Engineering.
- Experience working effectively across distributed and global teams.
- Experience building AI-native, conversational, or agentic product experiences is a plus.
- Experience taking an experience from concept or Figma into production code is a plus.
- Experience establishing a UX Engineering, Design Engineering, or Design Systems practice is a plus.
- Experience creating tools or workflows that improve the effectiveness of design or engineering teams is a plus.
