Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software projects.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, performance, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Build tools that reduce errors and improve user experience.
- Design and document system troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize code for performance, reliability, and scale.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and monitoring using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Evaluate and improve DevOps processes and tools.
- Implement security and compliance best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- At least 5 years of experience or exposure to software engineering roles and functions.
- Experience with Java and C/C++ programming, including network, multithreaded, and client-server programming where applicable, on Windows and Linux.
- Experience with Batch File, Windows Script File, Unix shell scripting, and Python scripting.
- Basic understanding of relational database applications and SQL expressions.
- Ability to design solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Current active SECRET DoD security clearance or higher and US citizenship eligibility for a US Government security clearance.
- Willingness to work full time onsite in Boulder, Colorado.
- Preferred qualifications include Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture experience, an advanced degree, Agile software development experience, and experience with FORGE MDPAF or satellite ground station processing.
