Responsibilities
- Own Workday Extend applications and multiple Workday Studio integrations.
- Improve existing business processes and user interfaces using Workday Extend technologies.
- Develop JSON formats, presentation UI components, custom objects, attachment objects, and business objects.
- Design and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- Run production deployments and releases through established release management processes.
- Design dimensional models and integrate Workday, enterprise data hub, third-party systems, and Adaptive Planning.
- Manage data integration schedules and end-to-end data ingestion from source systems.
- Build inbound and outbound Workday integrations using Core Connector, Cloud Connector, EIB, Report Designer, Workday Studio, and data conversion loads.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers, and source-system subject matter experts.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Workday Extend experience in both design and development, plus 5+ years of overall relevant industry experience.
- Programming experience in a high-level language, preferably JavaScript and WQL.
- Intermediate SQL and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience with data integration, data quality, data architecture, and integration solution development.
- Experience with HTTP, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP web services.
- Exposure to Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, and Talent.
- Experience solving business problems through hands-on coding, database creation, or other software development.
- Ability to work in global, cross-cultural, diverse environments and deliver under tight timelines.
- Workday Extend certification and one end-to-end Workday Extend implementation are preferred.
- Knowledge of Advanced, Matrix, and composite reporting, BIRT, Workday Studio, RAAS-based integrations, and calculated fields is preferred.
- Technical background in PMD, SMD, AMD, Model Components, and Orchestration is preferred.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying responsible and ethical judgment is preferred.
