Base Salary
$167k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with users and teammates to understand problems, contribute product ideas, and take work from prototypes and experiments through deployment.
- Own and build full-stack features used by learners and tutors worldwide.
- Scope work and make technical decisions with support from experienced teammates.
- Write simple, readable, maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and pairing sessions to maintain codebase quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack software engineering experience with a track record of building and shipping full-stack features.
- Ability to explain the product and technical tradeoffs behind previous approaches.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and Postgres, or ability to ramp up quickly.
- User-focused approach and ability to work independently while asking for help when needed.
- Availability to work in a US timezone.
- Preferred: deep experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Postgres, AWS, and GCP.
- Preferred: experience building mobile apps.
- Preferred: experience in education or on an ed-tech product.
