Base Salary
$242k - $349k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop deep learning models using imitation learning and reinforcement learning to generate autonomous vehicle driving plans.
- Develop techniques to evaluate driving-plan quality across safety, progress, comfort, and related dimensions.
- Use large-scale machine learning infrastructure to develop new solutions.
- Create metrics and tools for error analysis and system improvement.
- Collaborate with Perception, Planning, Simulation, and other engineering teams on autonomous driving in complex urban environments.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field.
- Experience training and deploying transformer-based model architectures and reinforcement learning systems.
- Experience with production machine learning pipelines, including dataset creation, training frameworks, and metrics pipelines.
- Fluency in Python and basic understanding of C++.
- Extensive programming and algorithm-design experience with strong mathematics skills.
- Conference or journal publications in machine learning or robotics are preferred.
- Prior experience with prediction, autonomous vehicles, or robotics is preferred.
