Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications supporting semiconductor manufacturing and test equipment.
- Architect and implement software features through requirements gathering, coding, integration, validation, and release.
- Provide technical leadership in software architecture, design reviews, code reviews, technology decisions, and engineering standards.
- Lead the migration and modernization of legacy MATLAB applications into C#/.NET platforms.
- Develop software interfaces for semiconductor equipment, motion control systems, industrial automation components, instruments, sensors, cameras, and data acquisition hardware.
- Support real-time control, automation, data collection, legacy application maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and system-level testing frameworks and improve regression testing, simulation, debugging, diagnostics, logging, and monitoring.
- Diagnose complex software defects, manufacturing issues, equipment integration problems, and customer escalations, and lead root-cause investigations.
- Contribute to source control, automated builds, deployment, release management, and development-process improvement.
- Mentor software engineers and cross-functional teams while influencing long-term software platform strategies and roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, or a PhD without experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and object-oriented software development.
- Experience developing and maintaining MATLAB applications and migrating MATLAB code or applications to C#/.NET.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across software, systems, mechanical, electrical, controls, and applications engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with Silicon Photonics, semiconductor equipment, wafer probing, optical test, automated test systems, motion control, machine vision, instrumentation, data acquisition, or industrial automation.
- Preferred experience with Azure DevOps, Git, automated testing, and Agile development.
