Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Python frameworks.
- Build and integrate backend services, data pipelines, and enterprise application components.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, data engineers, and UI/UX developers on end-to-end solutions.
- Develop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and integration challenges across distributed systems.
- Support cloud-native deployments, containerization, and secure software development practices.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph are required.
- Requires 2–5 years of experience.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with Java, Python, RESTful APIs, web services, backend integrations, relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, and Git.
- Preferred experience includes Spring Boot, Flask, FastAPI, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, event-driven systems, API gateways, and DoD or federal programs.
- Security+ certification or familiarity with secure coding and RMF principles is preferred.
