Base Salary
$135k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Combine multiple autonomy verticals under a unified simulation interface.
- Integrate neural rendering simulation software to enable dynamic simulation environments and improve fidelity.
- Improve hardware-in-the-loop simulation testing fidelity for stronger release-gating signals.
- Stabilize, generalize, and scale code deployment and offboard vehicle pre-checks to reduce idle time before on-road testing.
- Refactor mapping workflows into a streamlined pipeline using an offboard configuration management service.
- Integrate perception snapshots performantly into simulation to improve perception resimulation fidelity.
- Execute cross-functional projects supporting autonomy developers, systems engineers, and triage and release teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related engineering field.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-grade code.
- Strong foundational programming experience in C++.
- Experience maintaining critical-path developer tooling infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and/or managing resources in customer environments.
- A master’s degree in Robotics or another autonomy-related engineering field is preferred.
- Experience with data pipelining architectures, map validity, or metrics and evaluation frameworks is preferred.
- Exposure to software simulation tooling and reinforcement-learning-based, physics-based, or reconstruction-based simulation runtimes is preferred.
- Experience with perception modeling, planning, controls, or other onboard robotics functions is preferred.
- Background working with automotive OEMs, autonomous vehicles, or robotic development platforms is preferred.
