Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Develop and manage Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, including Git repository and branching management.
- Automate operational tasks with Bash/Shell scripting.
- Deploy Kubernetes applications with Helm and manage Docker images and container runtimes.
- Implement workload autoscaling with Karpenter and KEDA.
- Design and support event-driven architectures using Amazon SQS and RabbitMQ.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure platform reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployments, application performance, and operational efficiency.
- Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD workflows.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
- Expertise administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and version control practices.
- Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.
- Experience with Helm for Kubernetes application deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience implementing scaling solutions with Karpenter and KEDA.
- Hands-on experience with messaging and queueing systems such as Amazon SQS and RabbitMQ.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and observability concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: experience with GitOps and Argo CD, AWS CloudFront and CDN architectures, Node.js, Next.js, FastAPI with Python, microservices, API-driven architectures, and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Preferred: knowledge of security scanning, compliance automation, and platform governance.
