Base Salary
$154k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with energy and utilities customers and recommend architectures addressing security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best practices.
- Lead architecture reviews, discovery sessions, modernization efforts, technical discussions, Well-Architected reviews, and executive engagements.
- Design scalable, flexible, resilient, cloud-native architectures using AWS cloud and AI services.
- Build generative AI demonstrations using RAG architectures for industry use cases such as drilling report summarization.
- Advocate for customer needs internally and help inform AWS product and service roadmaps.
- Create and share reference architectures, white papers, code samples, blog posts, workshops, presentations, and other technical content.
- Hire, coach, and mentor others and contribute to Solutions Architecture community development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 3+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders and clients.
- Experience presenting and speaking with executives, IT teams, management, and developers.
- Experience architecting and operating in large enterprise IT environments, including identity management, authentication frameworks, standard operating procedures, IT service management, change management, and enterprise security controls.
- Preferred experience includes infrastructure, database, and networking architecture; cloud or virtualization solutions; software development tools and methodologies; data and AI technologies; and industrial IoT architecture.
