Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira.
- Validate new features, bug fixes, and product releases.
- Investigate application, networking, and security-related issues and analyze logs to identify root causes.
- Test APIs using Postman or similar tools and collaborate with Development and Support teams to resolve complex issues.
- Write basic Python, Bash, or similar scripts and contribute to test automation initiatives over time.
Requirements
- Require 3+ years of experience as a Technical QA Engineer or Manual QA Engineer testing cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or enterprise software products.
- Require API testing experience with Postman, Jira experience, and experience investigating issues using logs.
- Require understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and enterprise security concepts.
- Require Linux experience, familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, experience with Kibana, Elasticsearch, or similar log analysis tools, and basic SQL knowledge.
- Advantageous qualifications include Docker or Kubernetes experience, Wireshark or tcpdump experience, cybersecurity product experience, and familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
