Responsibilities
- Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects that enable core products to scale
- Design, develop, and own new product functionality and infrastructure using modern frameworks and tooling
- Make tradeoffs balancing business priorities, user experience, and sustainable technical foundations
- Partner with product management, product design, and engineering teams to discover and develop privacy features
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding engineering teammates in the United Kingdom and/or Ireland
- Mentor junior team members and set a collaborative standard for engineering culture and excellence
Requirements
- At least 10 years of industry experience as a software engineer
- Experience serving as a technical lead for large projects lasting six or more months
- Experience defining roadmaps for complex projects spanning multiple teams and functions
- Experience building successful SaaS products for startup and enterprise users
- Previous startup experience or experience in an environment prioritizing a bias for action
- Experience mentoring and leading engineers by example
- Experience working at rapidly scaling startups and large companies
