Base Salary
$147k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications for in-vehicle experiences.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to take features from concept to production.
- Optimize application performance, stability, and quality through code reviews and continuous improvement.
- Integrate applications with Applied Vehicle OS for seamless end-to-end functionality.
- Contribute to technical standards, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
- Stay current with Android development trends and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of Android or iOS application development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience shipping applications at scale.
- Experience with Kotlin and Java for Android.
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVI.
- Product-focused mindset and passion for user-centric experiences.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Preferred: experience with Android Open Source Project or Android Automotive OS.
