Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own the backend for Town’s AI assistant end to end.
- Develop orchestration layers for agentic workflows and multi-provider LLM infrastructure.
- Build workflow execution, identity, knowledge, personalization, trust, autonomy, and agent-network systems.
- Define technical direction and make architecture decisions in an ambiguous, fast-moving greenfield environment.
- Design and scale distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and reliable real-time AI workloads.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling backend systems through a company’s high-growth period, with concrete product scaling examples.
- Ability to define technical direction and work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Systems-oriented experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, reliability, and infrastructure-level tradeoffs.
- Experience with LLM infrastructure, agentic systems, or real-time AI workloads in production.
- A highly effective AI-native coding workflow is preferred.
- Interest in working in person five days per week.
