Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web-based applications.
- Test cloud-based web applications, services, and APIs through functional, integration, regression, API, and manual testing.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and testing strategies from product and technical requirements.
- Investigate defects, troubleshoot failed tests, and identify root causes with software developers.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and QA professionals throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Expand automation coverage and improve the efficiency and reliability of testing processes.
- Help establish QA standards and testing best practices across the team.
- Communicate testing results, risks, and quality concerns to technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing, including several years of hands-on test automation experience.
- Practical experience building or maintaining automated tests with Selenium, SilkTest, CodedUI, QTP/UFT, or an equivalent automation framework.
- Experience testing cloud-based web applications and REST APIs or web services.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, the software development lifecycle, and defect management.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development teams.
- Ability to determine whether issues originate in the application, API, test automation, or test environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication and effective collaboration skills.
- A recognized software testing or quality certification such as ISTQB Certified Tester or Certified Software Quality Engineer is preferred.
- Experience improving test automation strategies or frameworks, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and testing distributed or enterprise-scale applications is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in Poland for any employer and be a current resident of Poland.
