Responsibilities
- Create, deploy, maintain, and use software for in-vehicle data logging and visualization.
- Support algorithm teams in deploying algorithms for rapid prototyping in-vehicle systems.
- Manage and develop DevOps tools for current and new projects.
- Manage and organize data from internal teams and external customers.
- Write scripts and tools for offline data analysis, algorithm validation, and regression testing.
- Design data visualization and issue-mining techniques with sensing and perception experts.
- Maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop toolchains.
- Own software libraries and tools used by global Aptiv teams.
- Support internal and external customers worldwide.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with parallel processing, multithreading, large existing codebases, Windows, Linux, C++, and DevOps tools.
- Experience with ROS and familiarity with Python.
- Knowledge of automotive CAN and Ethernet communication protocols.
- Experience profiling and optimizing code.
- Experience with revision control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects, including Git, Jira, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
