Responsibilities
- Participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
- Design, develop, performance-tune, troubleshoot, and deploy Java applications.
- Write common services, libraries, and toolkits used by other applications.
- Work with data structures, algorithms, dependency injection, AOP, validation, caching, MongoDB, XML, JSON, JMS, ORM, batch scheduling, and unit testing.
- Develop and support applications involving microservices, containers, and cloud platforms.
- Prioritize work and manage schedules under tight, fixed deadlines.
- Produce professional and technically sound solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Core Java, multithreading, data structures, algorithms, annotations, generics, dependency injection using Spring or Google Guice, AOP, validation, in-memory Java object caching, and MongoDB handling in Java.
- Experience with XML and document handling, JMS messaging, Hibernate or iBatis ORM, JSON formats and parsers, Spring Batch or Quartz, and JUnit, jMock, or Mockito.
- Expertise in application design, development, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux or Unix and familiarity with OOAD, UML, TDD, and DDD.
- Experience with microservices, Docker containers, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Strong writing, communication, time-management, decision-making, and task-organization skills.
