Base Salary
$150k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the DevSecOps vision across software and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Own the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure supporting software development, testing, and version control.
- Architect highly available pipelines integrating Python, Playwright, and Selenium testing frameworks.
- Lead migration of legacy Jenkins infrastructure to GitLab.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, fuzzing, vulnerability remediation, IAM, and secrets management into development workflows.
- Establish Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Implement secure software supply-chain practices including artifact signing and SBOMs.
- Ensure environments comply with NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
- Mentor QA, software, and firmware teams and promote a security-first culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive DevOps or security experience.
- At least 3 years operating autonomously in a Principal, Staff, or Lead architectural role.
- Experience leading large-scale migrations from on-premises CI/CD systems to cloud-native platforms such as GitLab.
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP and with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Deep scripting expertise in Python, Go, or Bash and experience supporting test automation frameworks.
- Ability to work across high-level software infrastructure and low-level embedded systems.
- Comprehensive application, infrastructure, and embedded security knowledge, including OWASP Top 10 and enterprise-scale security tools.
- Ability to communicate complex architectural trade-offs to technical engineers and executive leadership.
