Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance cloud software and systems supporting mission-critical SaaS solutions.
  • Establish standardized operational tools, processes, and frameworks across diverse solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on security best practices, audits, and testing.
  • Define monitoring alert-response protocols and contribute to operational playbooks.
  • Lead post-incident reviews and recommend process and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop automation to prevent recurring problems and automate routine service responses.
  • Provide 24/7/365 support, incident management, and on-call support for production environments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, engineering, or engineering-in-test roles supporting critical production environments.
  • Experience with Azure AD, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, Azure Web Services, virtual machines, network security groups, and resource groups.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Windows and Linux administration experience, including bash commands such as ssh, scp, sed, awk, grep, and netstat.
  • Knowledge of cloud security guidelines, SOC guidelines, GDPR, FIS, networking, virtual networks, subnets, and firewalls.
  • Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Additional SQL query and database-log investigation experience is a plus.
  • Understanding and practical application of ITIL, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and SRE.
  • Experience with ELK, Site 24x7, New Relic, and Splunk monitoring and logging tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, composure under pressure, and attention to detail.
