Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Partner Integrations

Responsibilities
- Own cloud partner integrations from design and architecture through implementation and production operation
- Design authentication and identity flows, multi-tenancy, data movement, performance, and production behavior
- Own infrastructure, CI, deployment, and observability for the systems built
- Operate services on external platforms and manage risks across trust boundaries
- Collaborate with internal teams to define interfaces and keep dependent work moving
- Set technical defaults and direction for the growing integrations team
- Document technical decisions through design documents, RFCs, and other written artifacts
- Participate in on-call responsibilities for owned systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, including substantial work on data-heavy or integration-focused systems
- Strong backend and systems engineering skills, including deployment topology, multi-tenancy, data movement, and architectural tradeoffs
- Experience with modern authentication protocols, service principals, and identity federation across trust boundaries
- Experience building on external platforms with incomplete documentation or breaking changes
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and make sound decisions under uncertainty
- Strong collaboration and written communication skills for working across teams through design documents, pull requests, and RFCs
- Primarily backend-focused, with enough JavaScript and TypeScript experience to contribute when needed
- Ability to use AI development tools responsibly, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
- Preferred: familiarity with major cloud data or analytics platform ecosystems
- Preferred: deep authentication or identity federation expertise, or experience with partner marketplaces or certification processes
- Preferred: experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms and their isolation or deployment topology
- Preferred: working knowledge of ClickHouse or another columnar or OLAP engine
