Responsibilities
- Translate technology stacks and application designs into code across multiple development platforms.
- Develop, design, construct, test, implement, and support secure, stable, testable, and maintainable applications.
- Perform application systems analysis and programming, including feasibility studies, estimates, and implementation of new or revised systems.
- Support digital applications, risk technology, middleware, mainframe, non-mainframe, analytic model development, and application support activities.
- Learn and evaluate system functionality, architecture, dependencies, runtime properties, business requirements, customer use cases, and maintenance needs.
- Participate in system design, architecture, solution discussions, technical implementation, performance discussions, and application documentation.
- Build and maintain integrated development schedules while accounting for dependencies, constraints, delivery approaches, and contingencies.
- Help prioritize features, negotiate scope, and build consensus with teams and customers.
- Improve development processes, productivity measurement, delivery speed, innovation, cost efficiency, and quality.
- Automate code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Assess and manage business, technology, compliance, and control risks.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software or application development.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience turning technology stacks and application designs into code across platforms such as iOS, Android, web/Angular, and services.
- Understanding of application development concepts, programming, systems analysis, testing, implementation, and application support.
- Ability to work autonomously while seeking guidance when appropriate.
- Ability to understand system architecture, dependencies, runtime operations, business requirements, and customer use cases.
- Ability to communicate technical context clearly and work effectively with users, clients, technology groups, peers, and managers.
- Knowledge of code quality automation, performance testing, unit testing, and build processing tools.
- Ability to assess risk, follow applicable laws and policies, and exercise sound ethical judgment.
