Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end UI, API, and backend test automation using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build scalable REST/GraphQL API automation suites and backend automation integrated with internal and dependent systems.
- Develop Claude- and Codex-based AI agents and skills for test generation, test data creation, failure triage, and self-healing test maintenance.
- Translate quality requirements into automated test coverage for high-volume transactional workflows.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot flaky tests, pipeline issues, and failing API contracts.
- Optimize test execution performance, pipeline throughput, reporting, observability, and suite stability.
- Support deployment, release validation, post-release monitoring, documentation, reviews, planning, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- 5 to 9 years of software engineering experience in test automation, backend development, or related application development.
- Hands-on production experience with Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience developing API automation using REST/GraphQL and backend or service-based test automation.
- Experience building agents and skills with Claude and Codex for testing problems such as generation, triage, and self-healing.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and cloud application deployment concepts using AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, testing, debugging, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
