Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance production-ready NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.1 and JavaScript.
- Design and build Client Scripts, User Event Scripts, Suitelets, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, RESTlets, and Workflow Action Scripts.
- Create and optimize NetSuite workflows, forms, fields, custom records, roles, permissions, Saved Searches, and SuiteQL queries.
- Translate business, process, and control requirements into technical NetSuite designs and solutions.
- Develop and support NetSuite integrations and troubleshoot script, workflow, integration, and performance issues.
- Perform unit and regression testing, participate in code reviews, and deploy changes from sandbox to production under documented change controls.
- Maintain technical designs, deployment notes, and support documentation.
- Independently manage multiple NetSuite projects and improve financial-system processes through automation and optimization.
Requirements
- Two to four years of hands-on experience in NetSuite development, NetSuite technical consulting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite core functionality and Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report processes.
- Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow workflows, Saved Searches, custom records, custom fields, and primary NetSuite script types.
- Experience with SuiteQL, NetSuite debugging, execution logs, script governance, performance optimization, and script deployments.
- Experience developing or supporting NetSuite integrations using RESTlets, web services, external APIs, and secure authentication methods.
- Experience with structured testing, sandbox-to-production deployments, technical documentation, and change management practices.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
- Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework and source control tools such as Git is preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite OneWorld or multi-subsidiary environments is preferred.
- NetSuite SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or SuiteCloud Developer certification is considered an asset.
