Base Salary
$126k - $314k/yr
Responsibilities
- Keep user-facing services and production systems reliable, scalable, and efficient.
- Build automation and tooling to reduce manual work and improve workflows.
- Operate and troubleshoot production systems on Kubernetes.
- Write and maintain infrastructure as code, deploying changes safely.
- Participate in on-call duties and improve incident response processes.
- Contribute to observability practices using metrics and logs.
- Document architecture decisions and runbooks for repeatable practices.
Requirements
- Experience maintaining reliable production systems with a software engineering mindset.
- Ability to build new infrastructure tooling and automation from scratch.
- Proficiency in reading and debugging code, particularly in Go or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and major cloud providers like GCP or AWS.
- Familiarity with observability practices and data-driven operational decisions.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently in a distributed environment.
