Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions spanning system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Author and maintain reusable Terraform modules, manage remote state and locking, and apply workspace and environment best practices.
- Design and operate cloud-native workloads on AWS, including compute, event-driven integrations, networking, storage, and data platforms.
- Automate recurring issue remediation and improve software application and system operational stability.
- Design delivery pipelines, integrate Terraform workflows, and implement automated validation and testing.
- Lead architectural evaluation sessions and communities of practice across Software Engineering.
- Lead responsible adoption of AI-assisted software development tools, including standards for validating outputs and handling sensitive data securely.
- Coach engineers on safe, compliant AI-assisted engineering practices and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end production solutions across system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proven Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience, including reusable modules, remote state and locking, and workspace or environment best practices.
- Practical experience designing and operating cloud-native workloads on AWS.
- Strong experience with AWS compute services, event-driven architecture, integrations, networking, storage, and data platforms.
- Experience designing delivery pipelines, integrating Terraform into workflows, automating validation and testing, and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Exposure to C# and .NET technologies is preferred.
